Coming in for a Landing

I was out taking photos in the Bruce Pits yesterday when I heard these geese coming in for a landing. With my eye behind the lens focusing on another subject, I just moved my lens towards the honking and snapped the camera. When I glanced at the photo in the viewfinder I thought nothing of it, but when I downloaded it with the rest of the pictures I saw how beautiful it was. Each goose in the same motion with a wonderful asymmetrical composition. Like notes of music on a sheet of paper. A rhythmical song similar to the honking that attracted me in the first place. And the clouds in the background really capture the cold dampness of the autumn day.
