One of the reoccuring themes of the photographs that I will be posting on this blog will be photos that are shot at Bruce Pits. Bruce Pits is a green space preserved by the National Capital Commission as part of the Ottawa Capital Greenbelt. I often walk with my parents and my young daughter through the Bruce Pits and am amazed by the beauty of nature that exists right in the city where I live. I have been walking through the Bruce Pits ever since I was a child and have seen the space change and grow through the seasons and the years.

Is that a grasshopper in the bottom photo?
It's actually a shell of a grasshopper. I'm not sure why it's just the shell,,,
